Service Description

Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) is available in three flavors...​ - All Service Members (ASM) - Combat Life Saver (CLS) - Combat Medic / Corpsman (CMC) TCCC-ASM (TCCC All Service Members – Tier 1) is a one day, 7-hour course for all level of military service members, which teaches TCCC concepts and lifesaving skills to render basic medical aid to a trauma casualty. - Minimum students: 3 TCCC-CLS (TCCC Combat Lifesaver – Tier 2) is a multi-day, 40-hour course for non-medical military personnel being deployed into combat operations. This course is comprised of a substantial mixed lecture and hands on portion of the class, broken up over numerous days. - Minimum students: 5 TCCC-CMC (TCCC Combat Medic/Corpsman – Tier 3)* is a 63-hour course for medics, nurses, corpsmen, pararescue personnel and other military medical personnel being deployed into combat. This course is intended to train participants to provide more advanced prehospital casualty care than is taught in the ASM or CLS courses. Instruction includes the use of advanced medical equipment and knowledge in the management of life-threatening injuries commonly encountered on the battlefield. - Minimum students: 3 Fees for each course: - All Service Members - 7hrs - $350 - Combat Life Saver - 40hrs - $450 - Combat Medic / Corpsman - 63hrs - $900 *$50 of these fees goes to NAEMT for their certification Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) is developed by the U.S. Department of Defense, Defense Health Agency (DHA) Joint Trauma System (JTS) and the Committee on Tactical Combat Casualty Care (CoTCCC) to teach evidence-based, life-saving techniques and strategies for providing the best trauma care on the battlefield. The North American Emergency Medical Technician (NAEMT) TCCC courses are taught by a global network of experienced, well-trained instructors; of which ShieldWall is certified by and affiliated with. *TCCC-CMC: This nursing continuing professional development activity was approved by the Emergency Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation to award 63 contact hours for TCCC-CMC. This course is not available at an introductory level.
